What do your clothes say about you?

INTRODUCTION

Everybody wears clothes with words or expressions in English, sometimes without thinking in the meaning. Do you know what do your clothes say about you?

TASK

Search in the wardrobes and chests of drawers for all those t-shirts, sweaters, jumpers, jeans, etc which have some slogans, words or expressions that do not have a meaning in your language. And if they are in English, discover they really say about you.

PROCESS

• In groups of 4.
• Search in the wardrobes, chest of drawers or dressing rooms the clothes with words, expressions or slogans in English.
• Using a dictionary (not a translator), translate it into your real Spanish.
• Make a LABEL with the same idea in your language.
• Prepare an original presentation for your classmates.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Quantity	Number of items
Translation	Is it translated properly? Is it free or translated word to word?
Originalty	Is presentation well-organized? Is it attractive? Is it ORIGINAL? Does the presentation have a positive effect on the audience's impression?
Speaking	Has every member participated? Have they only read the information? Your group's work will be evaluated and your individual work will also be assessed.
